Size:
Small: 1" x 1" wide, about .02 oz  (for tiny and small dogs) 
           Can hold up to 4 lines of text, the more text, the smaller the font

Large:1.5" x 1.5" " wide (for small size breed dogs)

            Can hold up to 5 lines of text, the more text, the smaller the font

A few things you will need to order the tag:
   1.  Size: Small (1x1") for teacup, small medium breeds 
                   Large (1.5x1.5") for large breed dogs

   2.  Shape: choice of heart, bone, or star
   3.  Metal Color : Silver Nickel (silver colored, more durable, holds               
        engraving  better)  OR yellow bronze (a softer metal, will need cleaning as it will 
        patina or turn into an antique gold color in salt air or damp environments)
   4. Crystal Coating: Layer added to top of crystals for protection. Options:
      No Coating: no coating on top of crystals (great for photo session, human wear,
                           or for special occasions
      Light Coating: a thin layer of coating protection is added on top of crystals
                            The polymer coating shows off the depth and shape of each
                            individual crystal stone. (great for indoor pets that do not
                            frequently smack their tags against hard objects
      Super Coating: thicker layer of coating protection is added on top of crystals
                             Super coating will slightly change the look of the crystals to a non-
                             faceted look, but still showing the crystals. This coating is
                             much stronger than the light coating (great for sporty, rough and
                             tumble, water loving playful dogs).

Engraving limitations:

Small tags can easily hold 4 lines of text, 5 lines make the text very small.

Back engraving:

Heart tags:

Line 1: 15 characters
Line 2: 17 characters
Line 3: 15 characters
Line 4: 12 characters
Line 5: 9 characters (line 5 is not recommended)

Bone tags:

Line 1: 15 characters
Line 2: 13 characters
Line 3: 13 characters
Line 4: 15 characters
Line 5: 13 characters (line 5 is not recommended, limits line 4 to 13 characters)

Star tags:

Line 1: 15 characters
Line 2: 13 characters
Line 3: 12 characters
Line 4: 13 characters
Line 5: not available

FEO (front engraving tags)

(one line only on the front of the tag), usually a name

All Small FEO Tags- limit 5 characters (6 characters are possible, but not recommended, if you have a longer name, select a larger size tag)

All Large FEO Tags- Limit 6 characters (7 characters are possible, but not recommended)

Please remember, the more engraving you have, the smaller the font will be. All tags are set up to be centered with the largest engraving print possible to ensure the tag is easily readable.
