Loooooove this carrier!!! I have a 7 pound Maltese that is 15" nose to end. I got the large and when I took my little guy out the first night all my friends complimented my new bag... They were surprised when I unzipped it and D popped his head out! The gold looks much richer and is softer than the silver. I wear platinum and white gold but it looks nice especially with the silver hardware. D Has room to roll over, turn around and not feel claustrophobic. It is large but I carry large bags anyway. I can fit an extra shirt for him, small towel and paw wipes in inside zipper pocket (with room to spare!). On the two outside pockets I have his medications, treats, brush, poop bags,and travel water bottle. On the opposite side outer pockets I have a small wallet, makeup bag, phone, keys, and hand sanitizer. you will not regret this purchase! The only things I would change to make it even more amazing would be a chin rest but D hasn't complained!
